Conscious Clothing
Atelier
Conscious Clothing creates sustainable, handmade clothing using eco-friendly and low-impact materials. Founded by Rose Phillips, the studio began as a personal search for safe, eco-friendly fabrics for her children and has since grown into a full-scale operation dedicated to thoughtful, ethical fashion. Located in Belmont, Michigan, the studio was built in 2015 using partially salvaged and reclaimed materials, reflecting the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability.
At Conscious Clothing, every garment is crafted by a talented team that cuts, sews, washes, dyes, tags, irons, and ships each piece by hand. From their hands to the consumer’s doorstep, the brand is redefining the way clothing is made and valued, with an emphasis on supporting Made in America manufacturing.
With a strong belief in careful consumption, Conscious Clothing designs timeless silhouettes using long-lasting, sustainable fabrics—many of which are featured in Old Stone Trade collections. Their mission is to help customers curate capsule wardrobes filled with heirloom-quality pieces that will serve them for years to come, encouraging a mindful approach to fashion that aligns with both style and sustainability.
