About the maker: Yazmín (Yayi) Pérez is passionate about reviving fashion manufacturing in Puerto Rico through sustainable practices and tailoring traditions. She has developed garments for various brands and teaches at Escuela de Artes Plásticas in San Juan. Her brand, YAYI, began as a slow fashion line for women and now includes menswear and home goods, all made to order from natural fibers. Yayi is part of MODO CONSCIENTE, a community of designers dedicated to quality craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
