The trench coat, or gabardine, was inspired by Lucía Bustamante Hernáiz’ grandfather, a gentleman of impeccable style who favored clean lines and earthy tones evocative of the Basque landscape. Each trench is handmade from vintage, loden-green cotton utilizing traditional techniques of tailoring. The interior of the garment is reinforced with cotton interlining. Handmade bound buttonholes and pockets. Designed with ease and versatility in mind, the silhouette is oversized and relaxed allowing for the trench to transition from everyday to more elegant occasions.
