Glenn's Denim

Continuing an American Tradition

Glenn’s Denim is the culmination of Glenn Liburd’s 30-year infatuation with denim, and his commitment to mastering the art and craft of making high quality jeans. After a career spent working behind the scenes designing, cutting, and sewing for others– including heading up the custom program at Levi’s – Glenn started his own brand.

The Work

Glenn creates jeans and other workwear staples that are bona fide American, designed and produced in the USA and held to the highest standards.

The Blue Jean and Jean Jacket for Old Stone Trade began with the fabric. OST sourced deadstock, organic selvedge denim directly from Cone Denim, the preeminent denim mill established in 1895. This rare denim was woven on the original shuttle looms of the historic White Oak mill in Greensboro, North Carolina, before its closure at the end of 2018. Once the fabric is used, it can not be replaced.

Inspired by the straight-leg styles of the 1990s, The Blue Jean’s silhouette is a timeless wardrobe staple. The Jean Jacket, with its boxy cut, strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and classic, making both pieces effortlessly versatile—whether worn together or on their own.
