Handmade by Andrea Chappell, the Cullen Kilt is a celebration of craftsmanship and tradition, named for the bespoke cloth meticulously designed and woven by Sam Goates of Woven in the Bone.

The Cullen cloth is inspired by the ethereal light on the shoreline of Cullen, a picturesque seaside village in Moray. It is woven on a rare Hattersley Domestic Dobby loom, a pedal-powered shuttle loom built in 1948. This loom is one of only two working examples of its kind in the world.

Designed for simplicity and elegance, the kilt features a streamlined silhouette with three wide box pleats that beautifully showcase the artistry of the fabric. Inside each pleat lies a hidden gem: the 'Seafoam Selvedge' detail, a tribute to Sam's signature selvedge work.

Each kilt is lined with silk crepe and finished with custom navy leather straps and antique-style buckles, creating a piece that balances timeless design with exceptional attention to detail.
