These plaid blankets are made from a Romney–Corriedale wool blend, two breeds commonly found in New York State.

Romney, a classic English breed, contributes strong, lustrous wool that adds smoothness and strength to the blend. Corriedale, developed in New Zealand and recognized in 1911, is now widely appreciated for its excellent wool quality.

The ivory and grey shades are the natural sheep colors, while the dyed hues were created in the Lilly Marsh Studios workshop using weak acid dyes.
