This short-sleeved boat neck knit draws inspiration from the classic 19th- and 20th-century Guernsey and Gansey fishermen’s sweaters. Hand-knitted seamlessly from the top down in 3-ply pure Italian cashmere. 

A refined reinterpretation of traditional Gansey knitting techniques, the design features a textured motif created through alternating squares of moss stitch, historically used to evoke sea waves. The arrow motif references the harpoons used in fishing and was traditionally considered a symbol of an abundant catch.

Miki Zanini, a Milan-based hand-knitter, crafts timeless pieces that exude warmth and care. Her passion for knitting began during summers with her Swedish grandmother, who introduced her to the craft. While exploring various needlework techniques, Miki remained devoted to knitting, honing her skills through books, online classes, and tutorials.
