Ruana, another name for a poncho, is the most traditional garment in the Andean region. The OST poncho, or Ruana, has been hand-crocheted and sewn using deadstock cashmere fabric from Loro Piana.

This crochet lace is inspired by potato fields named “tocarreña”, the crochet applied is a texturized close stitch of potato flowers.

Guided by her deep passion for sustainable fashion and social entrepreneurship, Juanita united a collective of highly skilled female artisans from the region. These artisans, revered masters of the hand-crochet techniques passed down through generations, joined forces under the banner of Priah.
