ABOUT THE MAKER

Richard Masciantonio

Tailoring is a cultural legacy. Some revere its heritage, while others see it as an expression that supports their personal creative lives. For Richard Masciantonio, it serves as a place to exchange experiences while learning about material, technique, and process.

After studying art and design, Richard completed an apprenticeship with Master Tailor Rocco Giovannangelo at Oxxford Clothes Mfg in Chicago, where he refined his aesthetic synthesis of fine art and tailoring traditions. He currently works as the designer and patternmaker for the legendary Martin Greenfield Clothiers in Brooklyn, New York.
