Woven in a modified twill structure originating from the archive of 19th-century textile expert Georg Oelsner. 

The Color Block Throw is crafted from singles (unplied) East Friesian wool sourced from Dancing Ewe Farm in Granville, NY. 

The wool is strong, durable, and takes dye beautifully; all colors were hand-dyed in the workshop, inspired by mid-20th-century children’s book illustrations.

The result is a richly textured, color-blocked throw with a soft hand and a quietly graphic presence.
